Verifying advisers

Following on from our Bangkok Post article on qualified financial advisers, published in October 2007, this page will provide a quick resource that enables expats to verify the professional exam conferred qualifications of anyone purporting to be giving financial advice.

It is widely accepted that the most vigorously exam tested professional financial advisers are those who have qualified in Australia, Britain, Canada and the United States.

We will also be listing professional bodies of other countries whose financial planning qualifications are of an equivalent level.
